I'd like to think that photography is important and it brings out certain inaliable qualities in people and moves them and me and others who see the pictures and is generally a worthwhile way to communicate meaning and develop progressive and sophisticated ways of seeing. But maybe I also just like making people laugh and fiddling with knobs in Lightroom. An eternal question.
In addition to actuating shutters I also:
- try to be interesting and thoughtful on Substack
- sometimes write about card and video games on Medium
- have been published in Fourth Genre and The Vincent Brothers Review and was also a finalist for the 2021 Fourth Genre Steinberg Memorial Essay Prize.
Ave atque vale,
Jeff
